poema escolhido:

most importantly love

like it's The only you know how

at the end of the day all this

mens nothing

this page

where you' re siting

your degree

your job

the money

nothing even matters

except love and humam connection

who you loved

and how deeply you loved them

how you tauched the people around you

and how much you gave them

intertextualidade:

When I read the poem “The healing” written by Rupi Kaur, I chose specifically the poem from the page 262 because I identified myself with the main information I got from there. The poem brings to light that the act of loving is something much more important than everything we conquer in earth during our existence. The writer Rupi Kaur, affirms that titles, social status and assets doesn’t have magnitude, the most important thing is the feeling of love, mainly when we show this feeling to the ones we love! Also, this intensity of showing constantly this true and pure feeling.

We can find something very similar in I Corinthians, Chapter 13 verse 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 13 from the Bible, it is easy to noticed an intertextuality relation with the poem “The healing”, because the theme of the last verse is the love, and mentioned as a perfect virtue and lasting, the fact that matters in our very short life. We can noticed some comparisons of enhancement of love in both texts.
